It is with great sadness that Thermomass announces the passing of Robert T. Long Sr. on the 5th of September 2013. He was the founder of Composite Technologies Corporation and the inventor of the Thermomass Building System.
Bob was an inventor, entrepreneur and a passionate salesman all of his business life. For over 30 years he helped customers, architects, and engineers from around the world design and build energy efficient buildings.
Bob’s keen and creative mind, entrepreneurial spirit, and never-give-up attitude will be greatly missed by Thermomass and those whose lives he touched in the world of concrete.
While Bob is celebrated for his work ethic and vision, his friends and family will most remember Bob’s kind and generous heart. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Joan, six sons, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and twelve siblings.
